An Outspoken Soliloquy of Love

please read this, i wrote this for you.

i’ve been searching for the right words and the right terms,

but my thoughts knotted and tangled

so everything and nothing was being said at once.

how could i string vowels and consonants to appease you?

because look,

what a strange being you are.

never knew a storm could looked so much like sunset.

and i want to be with you,

it is as simple and as complicated as that.

a simple

perfectly flawed mess.

days elapsed,

nights passed,

and the whole world seemed to spin around me in smooth jazz.

but perhaps you know,

that for me

love is a daunting kind of fear.

a feeling I’m escaping.

but on nights like this, I wasn’t so sure.

on nights like this,

i’m grateful for so much,

but especially for you.

i wish time lingers a long time for you and me.

sometimes i feel like my life is unmanageable,

and i would like to share it with you.
